I love summer! And I love cooking. But with our summers being so short, I find that I’m not as keen on making elaborate time-consuming dishes. Sure, I love my perfected pizza recipe. But I would rather be outside or at the beach then taking the time to let it rise, roll I t, etc. Plus, I really don’t want to have my oven on for too long in the summer (which is required to get the proper crust on a true pizza.)
So what’s the solution? This simple Naan pizza! I love eating a ton of salads in the summer with all of the freshest ingredients. But sometimes, I crave something more than just a salad – and this delicious filling pizza definitely satisfies that craving!
You will seriously only need about 15 minutes to make this pizza! So let’s get cooking!

Preheat the oven to 400°.
Brush each naan with a little bit of olive oil. Spread tomato sauce on top. Top with fresh mozzarella slices. Either place on baking sheets or directly on the oven racks and bake for about 10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven, top with fresh tomato slices and basil. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil and freshly ground black pepper. Serve immediately.
