Traditional Honey Cake

Made with burnt honey to really bring out the flavour of honey. This is the first recipe I’m not actually sharing. This recipe is truly one of a kind, passed down by generations and very special to me.

Medovik, aka Honey Cake, is a layered cake popular in countries of the former Soviet Union. It’s traditionally made with honey and sour cream (or condensed milk.)
