Simple Moroccan Mint tea

DifficultyBeginner
Yields4 Servings
1 bag of green tea (or about a tablespoon of loose green tea leaves)
half a bunch of fresh mint
 4 cups hot water
2 tbsp honey, or more to taste
1

Combine mint, green tea and honey in a pot or a teapot. Pour hot water over and close the lid. Allow everything to steep for 3-5 minutes.

2

Traditionally, the tea is then poured into a cup then back into the pot to dissolve the sugar.

However, you can simply stir the contents of the pot together until the honey is dissolved. Taste your tea. It should be flavourful, minty and sweet. Add more honey if desired. Divide between cups and enjoy.
