Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 tsp fine salt
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups buttermilk
2 TBSP sugar
1/4 cup melted butter, cooled
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs, lightly beaten
Directions
- Whisk buttermilk, sugar, cooled melted butter and vanilla in a large bowl. Add eggs and whisk in gently.
- Combine the rest of the ingredients and sift into the egg mixture. Whisk to combine into homogenous batter.
- Using 1/3 cup measure for each pancake, fry over medium heat in butter until cooked through, golden on both sides. Serve with butter and maple syrup.
