Ingredients

  • 1 large egg white

  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

  • 1 heaping tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup white sugar

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

  • 1 lb pecan halves

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 250F.
  • mix sugars, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl.
  • Whisk egg white and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Stir in the pecans and toss to coat. Pour the sugar mixture over the pecans and spread on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 45-60 minutes in a single layer, stirring every 10-15 minutes, until pecans are evenly browned.
