Ingredients
1 large egg white
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 heaping tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup white sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 lb pecan halves
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 250F.
- mix sugars, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl.
- Whisk egg white and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Stir in the pecans and toss to coat. Pour the sugar mixture over the pecans and spread on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45-60 minutes in a single layer, stirring every 10-15 minutes, until pecans are evenly browned.
